Terms of Service

Chulri operates as a behavioral liquidity engine designed to enforce personal financial discipline. By allocating funds into a Vault (e.g., Daily Survival, Rent & Bills, Family Support, Goal Savings, or Time-Locked Maturity):

• Irrevocability: You explicitly instruct Chulri to lock the specified principal amount. Once locked, funds **cannot be unlocked prematurely**, canceled, or refunded prior to the configured drip or maturity release schedule.
• No Emergency Overrides: Support agents and system administrators do not possess technical access to bypass active Vault timers or break lock agreements ahead of schedule.
• Divisibility Rules: Total lock amounts must be exact multiples of the configured drip amount. Uneven or non-divisible "dust" balances are prohibited by the platform validation engine.

Chulri utilizes automated Safaricom M-PESA B2C (Business-to-Customer) APIs to disburse scheduled drips and maturity payouts directly to registered mobile phone numbers.

• Recipient Verification: You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of designated recipient phone numbers (must be valid 10-digit Kenyan lines starting with 07 or 01). Chulri is not liable for payouts dispatched to incorrect numbers supplied by the user.
• Network & API Delays: While payouts are automated to trigger on scheduled dates, actual delivery times are subject to Safaricom network availability, API uptime, and system maintenance windows.
• Failed Payouts: In the event an M-PESA transfer fails (e.g., recipient M-PESA account full, unlinked line, or system downtime), Chulri will retry the disbursement automatically or re-credit the unallocated float.

In compliance with Kenyan financial regulations and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards:

• KYC Verification: Users must submit valid government-issued identification (National ID / Passport, Verification Selfie, and KRA PIN) to access full withdrawal and multi-recipient features.
• PIN Authorization: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your 4-digit Account Lock PIN. All actions authorized via your PIN are deemed to have been executed by you.
• One Account Per Person: Each user may maintain only one active Chulri account linked to a verified National ID and primary M-PESA phone number.

Chulri maintains transparent pricing for processing deposits, vaults, and automated payouts:

• Transaction Fees: Automated M-PESA B2C payouts and manual cashouts may attract nominal tariff charges as displayed prior to confirmation.
• No Interest / Yield Guarantee: Vault deposits represent locked operational float for budgeting purposes and do not constitute interest-bearing bank deposits unless explicitly enrolled in a licensed partner Money Market Fund (MMF) product.
• Stale Pending Sweep: Uncompleted STK Push deposit requests automatically expire after 2 minutes to maintain ledger integrity.

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Chulri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party telecommunication outages, M-PESA platform downtime, or user errors in recipient phone configuration.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
